Running xp pro sp2, single machine, no domain, & now need to enable a guest
account, but i really don't like how guest has access to so many of my
applications !!! Is there a way to restrict access to most but not all apps

windows xp starts then before it opens get blue screen and it starts over
again  tried to boot from xp pro disc and it starts loading then it says
usbohci.sys is corrupted and shuts down set up wont boot in safe mode what do

I have XP home ed on my laptop, running sp2 and all recent updates.  I also
have McAfee Virus Scan.  It is detecting an unwanted program, drive cleaner,
and cannot remove it.  I next ran the scan in DOS.  There are no virus
detected, but it shows a problem with the boot sector.

I get a message NTLDR is missing, when I go into msconfig I find that the
boot.ini is not there, where is the back up stored, and how can I use the
recovery console without an XP disk my computer came with XP preloaded.

I am having serious praoblems validating Windows in order to download a media
player codec. It was suggested that I uninstall Explorer 7 which I did but
this has not helped and now I can't reinstall EX7. I do not get the ActiveX
