First "NTLDR is Missing" Now "Hardware Configuration Problem"14 Jun 2007 03:56 GMT1
First I had the "NTLDR is missing" problem, so I made a bootable
floppy disk.  Now it tries to load from the floppy disk and then after
a few seconds it gives me this error message:
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware

First of all I am on XP PROFESSIONAL. I think my computer might be

I got the "NTLDR is missing - Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" message
when I rebooted my computer the other day.  I then used my XP install
disk to boot up and went to the cmd prompt to see what files were
missing. boot.ini and ntdetect.com were in there but the NTLDR file

Lately i have been having a big trouble with my internet while using windows
XP.
My family uses this computer, so we have 3 different user names at the main

Using Outlook Express some unwanted and unpleasant files from a NewsGroup to
which I did not subscribe got 'saved' automatically on my WXP2 Home laptop.

I have a Sony laptop. PCG-K13. Bought it new. It shipped with Windows XP
installed, and I've stayed current with all the Windows upgrades. It did not
