The problem I have with check disk is that it runs behind a black screen. It
sems to take the right amount of time(20 min.) Any ideas why this happens?

I have 3 accounts set up on my home computer. I cannot access the control
panel from my screen without the computer freezing up but I can connect to
the internet. The other 2 accounts cannot access the internet at all. When
they try the computer freezes up.

wmp 11 plays all of my previously ripped library songs fine but the new CD's
or ripped CD's I play are all distorted. I have checked all my volume
settings and equalizer settings and they are acceptable and at medium levels.
Any suggestions?

Got problem with keybord on symbol (") got (@) instead and Instead of British
pounds symbol got (#) what can I do? Everything was ok before I had reinstall
microsoft xp.

ok, i really dont know what is going on with my laptop, when i log on, my
computer runs normally for about 30 or 40 minutes and then a weird blue
screen comes up that says

"Program has encountered an error and needs to close etc etc"
I have found the syslog information on the error and it gives me no help..

hi - how do I delete websites from the autocomplete in my address bar? I've
cleared the history, but it still autocompletes some websites I probably
shouldn't have been visiting - how do I make them go away? It's wierd, it
autocompletes some sites, but not others...
