2 days ago I ran defrag on my notebook HD but it hung up around 85% thus
crashing my system. Now I am unable to perform detail format but using quick
format is ok. Upon successfully reinstalled XP home edition and office, I
encountered continuous cyclic redunancy errors (CRC) ...

When I put the mouse over any file, program icon, start button, favorites in
IE etc. I get these pop ups that are supposed to help me.
I NEVER look at these things they are more annoying than anything else.
Is there a way to make this stop?

I have got ACER Ferrari and small problem with USB flash memory.
I tried deferent devices connect via USB and seems to be ok.
I have only problems with devices which are recognised like removal hard
drive.

Had to disable startup items. so opened MSCONFIG. by mistake disabled
"load system services" also, as soon as the MSCONFIG window comes up,
system restarts. new user doesnt help. safe mode doesnt help. anyway I
can auto start "system services" by using command prompt in safe mode

Sorry if this question appears more than once; so far no luck getting into
newsgroup.
Right click on "convert to Adobe PDF" causes BSOD.
No problem converting from within Acrobat.

Windows ME allowed the user to place graphics on the desktop that were
stored on that PC. Win-XP only seems to allow one to place a graphic
onscreen from another website.
Is there a way around this?

Hi I had a problem with the OS and repaired succesfully(?) WIN XP using the
CD Installation disc. Now my computer will not Boot up in Win XP. It gets to
