Can I use my Windows CD from a Dell computer I bought last year for a
new computer?

How can I stop the automatic launch of a registration program (Dragon
Naturally speaking - ereg.exe).  Registering doesn't stop it.
Where do I find the registry entries that direct the logon process?

When I tried to use windows update to do sp2 everything moved along to about
80% complete.  The dialogue box showed that it was "processing cleanup" but
after 20 minutes the progress bar had not moved at all.  All buttons on the
update box were greyed out  and so I had to use ...

I am trying to help a friend.  He was having problems with RAM and decided
to go to task manager and quit a few programs.  Well, he ended explorer.exe

Ok, so here's the deal. My icons are gone from the task bar. Yes I've
unchecked "hide inactive icons" but no luck. I don't even have the arrow to
access these hidden icons. Is there any other way to find the "safely remove

I've just restored XP pro on my Compaq nx9420 and came accross I problem
that didn't exist before.
I use a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard and after XP restored and I patched
to the latest updates (no errors) I installed is as previously.
