My computer didn't come with the speech recognition software and I can't
install it anywhere. computer is an 02 XP. I need this to get my mic to work.

I would like to get a flashdrive to put all my favorites on but am not sure
how big of one I need cause they go from 64mg to 4mg. Thanks all for your

This may sound like a very silly question to you computer experts out there
but I cannot stop a programme from starting automaticly on start up of my pc.
I have checked the startup menu in all programmes and documents and settings
but cannot get it to stop.

i am unable to open up any link thats in email or given in a web page,
neither the option of "open in new window works". my computer is also
running slow. i have XP SP2 with IE 6
any suggestions;how to reslove this problem

I'm getting a new menu while right clicking on the disk drives named
'auto' and it takes me to 'open with' menu.I've also noticed that this
one is the default item.By this, i mean to say, i'm getting this menu
while double click on the drives.

Does anyone know how to to revert to original colors in windows scheme?
Using xp.  My colors are all screwed up-even something as simple as the
solitaire game colors are all off. The cards all show up in black-no

i have just spent ages installing a trial copy of server 2003 on a virtual
pc, the problem i have is that i need to click control, alt, delete to get
the server stated, but that brings up the task manager!!!!  any ideas anybody
at all please??

Everytime I try to save or change a word document I keep getting this message

The situation:  Was installing XP on older PC, in order to use it with big
screen TV.  Had 500Gig external drive connected thru USB and accidentally
asked the machine to delete the system partition for the external drive
instead of the partition for the system drive.  Fixed the ...

I get "cannot delete file -- cannot read from source file or disk" How would
I delete such a file?

I am using Win XP Home with SP2, updated from MS site with updates. I also
had at some point Faronics DeepFreeze installed and later uninstalled upon
expire. At some point (possibly after next Win update) my PC started show
persistant problem: ANY files, downloads, program ...
