The other day I was typing on my laptop and my puppy jumped up on the couch
where I was sitting and ran across the keyboard and the next thing I knew the
whole display on the computer had turned sideways.  I tried restarting the
computer.  I tried shutting it down and starting it ...

I have only some details at this point.
The gateway computer with WinXp now constantly reboots.  After a restart or
cold reboot, the gateway screen comes up (didn't use to) and then the
Windows login screen, and then the computer reboots and the process starts

Sometimes when I use MS Outlook I get a failure to send email message from
System administrator with a message below:
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
How can I prevent and correct this. Thanks.

Just to say it short, Windows XP won't check the My Pictures folder for

I normally use Microsoft Photo Info to add copyright and Author to my images,
but over the last few days it dosen't allow me to it just says:
Error applying changes to file whatever.jpg
Then it says:

When attmpting to playback AVI's recorded from our Digital Camera (Canon S3)
the CPU usage bounces from 11% to 100% throughout creating break-ups and drop
outs.
All other AVI's, DVD movies, mpeg's, even full 1080i HD clips play fine.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for your help back on the 15th of this month!!  Bert your advice was
the answer I needed.  I just got Norton 360 and after I diabled it I was able

I'm having a sloooow hibernate (10 mins) all the sudden.
i've tried defrags with no luck.
where else do i go?  it's not hardware; i've changed the HDD in the laptop
adn all's well on another system.  something funny in this version of my XP.
