for the past year or so it will make me reactivate windows when my computer is restarted or shut down. when i do reactivate it, it won't use my key and i have to call for a temporary number. is there any way to fix it without having to buy a whole new version of xp?

I recently downloaded the service pack 2 and was instructed to restart my computer after download. Now my com tries to power up...i get the Windows XP logo and the boot device instructions (F2 and F12)...get nothing when I try to "open in safe mode" or from "last safe restart"

I'm getting the above message when i try to start up my pC running Windows XP Home SP2. I've managed to run a dell diagnostics disk and ascertain that there is a corrupt block on the disk.

Suddenly, all the text sizes have gotten smaller in all applications. All the menu bars, command line buttons, the text I type in Outlook - everything is smaller. The font shows Arial 10, but it smaller like 8 or 9. Also, the text I am typing looks lighter than before.

I get that BSOD and send error report after rebooting system. MS answered to me that the problem cause antivirus software. I use nod32. Can that be issue? I hope its not a hardware problem.

I am getting the message "Windows cannot laod the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile - INCORRECT FUNCTION". This is preventing me from accessing the internet among issues. What is corrupted and how do I repair it?

This problem is nothing new to xpsp2, but it seems to be coming fast and furious over the past month. There are exe's and dll's that have the faulting module errors. I have attached a log of all the event id 1000's over the past month
