A few months ago my computer installed the "Windows Updates" every since then
I am getting these Security Warning pop ups. They are driving my nuts is
there any way I can turn this off?
Here is what the warning says...

Ok, I restarted my computer, and Windows won't boot, because
shell32.dll is missing, and  the login user interface dll msgina.dll
isnt loading. I have booted from my recovery cd and am in the recovery
console. What do I do at this point to restore the missing files? I do

My Ativa 1G memory stick has worked well on all of my computers until
I installed a USB printer (HP C3180) on one of them.  The stick works
fine again if you disconnect the printer.

my gsm 6.10 audio codec, which is supposed to come with xp, seems to have
disappeared after I unistalled the acemegacodec pack.  When i tried the
suggestions of reinstalling hardware using the win32 directory (found on the
ventrillo website) windows can't find the file msgsm32 ...

I just did a repair and when I booted back up I got the windows update box
that said it was going to install windows installer 3.1....when it was done

I'm having a strange problem.
I work at a University. At times I get an email there with an attachment,
say a .doc file.
I have 2 laptops at home and I can check my work email at home. With one

I am getting constant activity on my computer (every few seconds) and
RPCSS.DLL seems to be causing a lot of it.  What is this program and
can it be deleted?  What functions does it support?

It appears that one of the updates from Microsoft has taken out the
permissions option on two of my computers. (or virus)
On the six other computers I have (that have not been updated) the
permissions option is right where it should be.

message " Cannot find import DLL maybe missing,corrupt or wrong version file

I have a problem where on a specific profile on a Windows XP Pro machine
running IE7, where I'm trying to organize my favorites from the list, and
drag/drop does not work properly. The profile is one of three Administrator
accounts on the machine.

wireless connection does not have ICS options. Has anybody tried to do this,

but im trying to install WORKS. an error comes up halfway installing.  error

When i "right clicked" on an email in Outlook Express,i used to see 2
headings:- THIS IS SPAM  and THIS IS NOT SPAM. This allowed me,if i wished,to
block further emails from any unwanted sources.
 Somehow i have done something to make these 2 headings dissapear. Please
