My Documents folders appear on the Desktop, My Computer / X's
Documents, and My Computer / Local Disk / Documents and Settings/ X /
My Documents, where X is my name. Why three locations? Are they
supposed to be identical (I don't think they always are)? Can't I

I booted my computer and got the corrupt/missing system file error. When I
booted to recovery console and into windows repair, there was no sytem file.
There was a system.bak, but no system. How can I repair the installation, or
do I have to do a new install?

I can write to a CD-R but I can't read it.  It seems to think it is a blank CD.
(I have no problem writing and reading a CD-RW of the same brand.)
When I insert the CD-R disk after writing it, it says it is a blank disk.

I have windows xp home with sp2.
I have one problem. When i see thumbnail view . I show big thumbnai
only.
BUt not showing name of folder under thumbnail.

If I check automatically adjust clock for daylight savings time, then it
constantly sets my clock ahead one hour.  If i uncheck this, everything
works, but then my blackberry moves every meeting one hour ahead thinking
it's in a different timezone.

This is on my computer, but when I've received Updates from MS for it, I have not downloaded them b/c I prefer to not download "updates" I don't need, or for programs I do not recognize. When I checked on the MS URL it did not convince me I was even using this program.
