Running IE 7 with XP, when I open a page from within a website, it opens in a minimized form. Is there a way to open it always in maximised form? Any ideas please?

I have my computer configured for auto updates. This morning after it ran I still kept getting the notice saying that there were updates waiting to be installed. There is one update that doesn't complete.: "Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365)"

I have a laptop that the hard drive died in yesterday. I have an old hard drive (two years old) from the laptop that has the OS loaded and all my programs. I had replaced it with a larger drive and put it away for a backup.

I tend to keep a messy desktop. I'd like to organize the links I keep on my desktop into folders and subfolders. How many folder levels can I use and still be within the proper operating requirements for XP Home edition?

I was putting some things into a new Zip file and the following error message popped up. "Cannot create output file." and insted of a zip file I have a file with a file name with two captal letters a lowercase a and a five digit number. Is their anyway to get my information back?
