I did a "repair Installation" because something went out of wack. When i did so, it took me back to SP1. I then installed all the updates, and when i tried to install sp2, it freezes when trying to isntall my geforce 6800 drivers.

After downloading KB936357 from Microsoft (this KB patch supposedly makes a microcode reliability update. However it causes one of our WinXP boxes (Pentium 166) crash with a STOP 7E on boot up. I need to manually remove this patch from recovery console. How do I do this?

I am unable to get my scheduled backups to run. HELP!!!! I am using Microsoft Backup in Windows XP Professional with an HP Storageworks DDS3 tape drive. I am able to do manual, (backup now), backups just fine.

I have Windows XP home edition, for some reason I am not able to save any files (whether they are new or editted). It will not allow me to Change the: Save In , File name, or Save as type - boxes, these are grayed out. When I go into Safe Mode I am ABLE to Save files.
