I just reinstalled windows xp sp2 and when I went to update, it said
there were 71 updates, so I clicked to install them, and every single
one of them failed. What is the problem here?

at start up got the note profile corrupted, started with temporary.
Unfortunately I messed with it before coming here. I deleted the profile. Is
there anyway to get it back? Or at least recover folders, files, etc?
Everything from the my docs folder is gone or hidden.

I recently discovered that my autoplay was disabled. I have tried finding

June 7 I queried you really helpful guys about my right click context menu
and why it was taking so long to respond to me. One of you suggested I
download ShellExView. I did. I've been hacking. Simply because I don't know
what I'm doing really. Anyway Excel is no problem now but ...

I tried that, but no changes. I learned that if I terminate the process, it
stops. However, I then get kicked off the internet, and my sound stops.
Anyone have any  other suggestions? What could be causing the problem? Thanks
