My XP Home CD (original) has died...sorta. It's stopped reading at about 35% of the way through. I tried to create an ISO to restore using Nero but Nero can't go beyond the 35% mark either. Any suggestions? I HATE being without the CD! If anything happened and my restore points ...

All the profiles have some how been corrupt. It says that it cant find the profile and you will log in with the temp profile. Even the Administrator account profile is corrupt. I've tried to create a new account with admin rights, but same thing accours (cant find the profile), ...

Whenever I right click on a document or spreadsheet in Explorer (XP SP2) there is an interminable delay. The file doesn't have to be large. This is a new phenomenon. How do I rectify it?

Suddenly the option to be able to pin a program in the program list off of the start menu is missing. I've looked in the knowledge base but can find no specific reference to this. This is a new one on me. Does any MVP know how to fix this? Thanks.
