For some unknown reason, I get the error message "Windows Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close..." every time I start the computer.
I have tried the Debug feature, scanned for Viruses and tried many System
Restore Points (does this ever work?), but all to no ...

When I was prompted to install chinese language support, the message came up
to insert the Windows XP DVD.  I inserted the DVD that came with my computer
and it seemed to be copying files for a while then stopped  with a message
that it couldn't find xjis.nls.

In XP one option in Regedit file menu is Print|All. No printout results,
why?

I have Windows XP Home Edition the computer crashed when i turn it on it asks
for a boot disk i dont have my Windows XP disk anymore i tried the SP2 disk
didnt work what can I do will any Windows XP disk work or do I have to go buy
another ?

On one of my computers when I put my mouse on any post to review it it won't
open in the right pane. If I double click it does open but in a new window.
Because of this apparent script error I can't respond to any posts or create
any new posts. Please help. Thank you.

I still use IE6 because I had a huge problem with links working in the email
with IE7.  Everytime I clicked on a link in my email it wouldn't go
anywhere.  I was wondering if that problem has been fixed or what?

I used to be able to switch between active windows by clicking on an
icon for the window in my taskbar.  Now I don't see the icons.  For
some reason I see, instead, loads of quick start icons for programs
like itunes, windows media player, etc..  I don't have any idea how

I am trying to install sp2 off disc but keep getting a message stating (setup
could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the
cryptographic service is running on this computer. I would be very greatfull

I am unable to access contents of my desktop folders, stsart op menue and
shortcuts on desktop appear to be working ok. antivirus scan reveals no
virus, and restore does not appear to work.

I hope someone can help me with this. I have two HP notebooks, one has XP
Home and the other XP Entertainment.
Both of them make "Copy Of" files of everything I do be it pictures, videos,

Using IE7, XP w/SP2, Automatic Updates turned ON. I have extracted some
files ( Using IsoBuster ) to my hard drive and all the files have the
Attribute "Read Only" enabled. I right click on the file, click properties,
and click on the checkbox which removes the green square in it.  ...

I know how I came to this point but not what to do about it. I received a
