If I connect ANY USB Highspeed (USB2) device to ANY usb port, and even if it is the only USB device, I always get the

I've tried to install service pack 3 with little success. This because it
tells me to put in the CD ROM for windows XP office. I downloaded another
installationfile from microsoft's site that could solve this but it still
asks me to search for my CD.

My motherboard was fried (long story), so I took the hard drive from

I am unable to boot directly to the old hard drive... nothing
