I am trying to install msicuu2.exe (Windows Installer Clean Up).  When
I launch it I get the following error:

I noticed that when I open windows explorer and select File drop down menu
that the 1st entry is a new weird icon (looks like an egg) that says New
folder. If I select it it creates a folder with an animal name. This icon
appears 1st, just before the windows explorer New entry ...

I used 'Find next' in Regedit to search for Symantec Registry entries
but it seems to miss RH pane entries that have Symantec as part of the
path,viz, My

i know that xp home doesn't have a backup installed in system tools, and i
need the xp home cd rom to manually install it. is the xp home recovery cd
the same cd rom that i need to manually install it? that's all i was given
when i purchasd my area-51 machine from alienware.com. ...

My windows xp suddenly is stuck on the blue screen Windows is shutting down,
and never shuts down, I have to hold in my button a few seconds to shut down

My browser cant connect to the internet.  ive tried IE, and firefox. tried
reinstalling firefox and it still didnt work.  my outlook connects and when i
ping google, yahho and the like thru the CMD prompt i receve all of my sent
packets back.

I know that just deleting data does not totally remove the data from my hard
drive. My question is, is there any software to remove this data permanently,
as I am giving my computer to charity. Thank you for any suggestions.
