Can anyone explain why a folder is missing under Windows XP? I can see it using free Commander but Windows Explorer doesn't see it. thanks

I have a hidden system file in a folder which held images. The file name is Thumbs.db I need to delete this file so I can delete the folder. I'm familiar with dos command mode so I need the syntax only.

I'm using Windows XP and Firefox 1.5.0.12. I have a URL in a Eudora email that ends with "index.php" which I'm to use in order to log onto a blog and post. If I move a cursor over the URL, it says it is syntactically invalid.

I get the error msg at startup and have followed the directions of the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822800 no help from this fix. anyone else have a fix without totally rebuilding it from scratch?

The windows process igfxpers(.exe) generates errors whenever I try to shut down my machine. (I may have misspelled it - igfexpers?) I read on a potentially dubious site that it is a process related to an Intel chipset or video support, and takes a large amount of system memory.
