I recently installed a new fan and heatsink and am getting spikes. I checked the Intel file and they advised to delete the present file and reinstall. I have deleted the file but cannot figure out all the gobbledegook to reinstall. Can someone please help??? Thanks

Windows xp keeps restarting on my daughters computer, I have a feeling she has either clicked something or done an illegal shut down, Anyway, it loads up to the main screen and just before the windows music finishes it restarts

I was having trouble with my printer a friend told me to find the disk for the printer, uninstall and then reinstall it. The problem I have is it is asking for my xp home edition cd, I can not find it anywhere. what can I do? Thanks alot!!

when the grandkids were messing with the desktop PC, XP home edition, it was infected with the sasser worm? the one that messes with lsass.exe. The pc will not boot completely, either in safe mode or regular. gets just so far then the warning box pops up fussing about lsass.exe ...

Spyware or virus created multiple directory levels. They are so deep that the length of the string exceeds max. How do I delete the directory. An example is as follows /SAM/SAM/SAM/SAM/SAM/SAM/SAM/SAM/...SAM/ "DEL /SAM" does not work.

I have a new( 2mos.) desktop computer: 1G memory, Intel 3.2, XP home. I can’t afford to leave it run full power all day. Start up is time consuming, to endure everal times a day. Other power options are hibernate, primarily for laptops I believe; and standby.
