Does the amount of space assigned to System Restore affects the footprint of
a Operating System ghosted image?

I had an eployee that just left and deleted her Admin rights/password. I did
have the forthought to back up her data but I dont have the orginal password.
I cant get in to the computer on any level to change password or create new
admin user. I cant even get the safe mode to boot ...

When surfing the page will freeze and when I try to close it I get not
responding and I will close now, then this comes up:

I wasn't thinking when I rebooted one afternoon and left my MP3 player
plugged in the USB port and after reboot, I had two new drives (I figure one
for the player's internal memory and one for the mircoSD that's in its
expansion slot).  

My laptop has been doing strange things for a while now and I need help to
stop the inconvenient crashing.
Every now and again, its sounds like there is a motor whirring inside, first
at a low level then increasing until it is quite loud and high pitched. Then

I friend of mine(MR. IT) deleted some much needed files for my business by
mistake and we cleaned out the recycle bin also. I need to get these files
back. Tried to do a system restore but i was not able to do and got the
following message.

I have had to reinstall my Windows XP O/S on a new hard drive as it failed on
my original hard drive.
On my old hard drive all files and programs seem to be intact (viewed by
putting hard drive in case and attaching to new hard drive via USB)

PC running XP Home
On my own user account, I can make drives visible/invisible, using TweakUI.
When another user logs on, all the drives on my PC are visible and there is
no "Drives" branch shown in TweakUI.

A friend's computer keeps shutting down sometimes after a few seconds,
sometimes a few minutes - it's an ageing Dell and she is going to replace
it, but wanted to get all her photos and documents off the hard disk (NO she
hadn't backed them up!!). It was so difficult trying to do ...

i had the power pulled on my computer and i think it is running xp, i was
working on some photoshop pics and i was wondering if there was a way to
restart my computer from where it was before it crashed?  i seem to remember
something about the computer automatically saves itself ...

I lost(can't remember it) my signin password for Windows XP, is there a way
to bypass the signin screen or reset the password?

my dad's computer keyboard doesn't seem to be hooked up right.  when he
tries to type letters, nothing appears.  yet, the cursor is blinking, and
the tab button makes the cursor move around.  but the letters won't appear.

How do I send an item to an area that is NOT listed in the 'Send To' areas?
I have Windows XP with SP 2.

All of a sudden, my Windows XP Pro computer re-boots itself after I shut it
down - suggestions please.

I keep getting a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in my right
toolbar. when i hover over it, it produces a windows security alert error
prompting me to download a spyware remover. when i click, it takes me to
"amaena.com" for a spyware download. This doesn't seem right ...
