I've been noticing over the last few days that my computer shuts off
automatically for no reason while I'm in the middle of something, I'm on an
Acer Aspire 3002WlCi with Windows XP Home SP2.  Is there a problem I don't
know about, and if so, what can I do to fix it so it doesn't ...

First I was getting a runtime error and wasn't able to connect to the
internet via, explorer, firefox, winamp, etc.  So I got some advice in
a forum and using msconfig.exe I basically ended up turning everything
off and then on again -- actually making no changes.  This worked

Beginning today, every time I try to access Windows Update I'm met

I have been looking around at laptops recently and reviews and see people
going out of their way to avoid Vista. I did see that some complain about

All of the sudden all my messages, new and old are grouped by sender.  There
is a "+" next to the senders name and I have to click on it to see my new
messages.  I would prefer to have no grouping at all because it makes it
difficult to see my new messages.

I am running a Dell computer with XP SP2 (upgraded from Win ME). The computer
is off the net. In trying to install WMP11  (it has WMP10 now) I get the
