I got a nightmare of my harddisk recently:
My harddisk has dual boot of XP and Win2K, recently all partitions are 0KB
in size after I boot into my VISTA(installed on another harddisk). The VISTA
did a consistency check and deleted indexes and inserted the indexes on the

I'll try to sum up:
As soon as I had gone to exit out of my Windows Media Player 11, the
computer immediately reset to the boot up splash screen, which after waiting
approximately five minutes appeared to be doing nothing. I clicked the reset

When I try to bootup my pc, I keep getting the BSOD, the message is below
Check to be sure you have adaquate disk space.If a driver is identified in
the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for
driver updates. Try changing video adaptors.

There is a mapped drive I: that is mapped to the wrong folder.
I disconnect, remap to the correct folder, and everything is fine until I
reboot.
When I reboot, I: goes back to pointing to the wrong drive.

I get an error message that "time executable" fails to run and that error
reporting wants to send the issue to Microsoft.  I see no updates for my
WinXP SP2 on the update page.  What is the problem?  Every time I boot my
computer today it is doing this.

Hi and thank you for looking at my post, my first.
I thought it was because I disabled the Indexing Service, but after enabling
it, the problem remains.
My O/S is Windows XP Home Edition SP2 with all MS updates to date.
