I have recently got a virus and Norton told me to go onto their website and
apply a search which would search for that virus. It said it had found 1
corrupt file and that it needed to restart. I have restarted the computer and

When using internet, my connection is closed down after 90 minutes and I
have to reboot PC to reconnect. Checked with ISP and it is nothing with
them. Where do I look?

A few weeks ago, when starting up, my VAIO began to stop during Windows
startup.
It shows a "DOS type" window with hardware, port and device information.
At the bottom of the page, is says:

I had a problem some time back where running sfc was asking for the
professional cd.  Now it tells me I'm inserting the wrong home cd.  How can

   First of all, I just want to say that I did try searching for a
solution before coming here, but everything I found was related to
getting standby/hibernate enabled.
