PCI firewire 1394 card disrupted ethernet connection07 Aug 2007 15:20 GMT1
I just installed a PCI firewire 1394 card. Upon restarting I get an error
message stating "a network cable is unplugged". I plugged another computer
into the same Cat 5 cable and was able to connect to the internet. Any idea
on why the firewire card has disrupted my Ethernet ...

When booting up my computer the volume level is VERY high before I
login. After I enter my password and get to my desktop it changes back
to normal volume levels. I'm using the on-board soundcard on a Sony
Vaio desktop. I'm not using a 3rd party sound application or anything,

My typing seems to be a lot faster than what my computer can keep up with.  
There is a delay of some seconds before it catches up - this problem started
occurring about a month ago.  Any suggestions?

For some reason all of my drive have disapeared in My Computer. Where
the drives should be is a blank white page in My Computer.
I can access the drives by selecting them off the drop down list in My
Computer but they just don't appear where the drive list should be.

New Pc. Had it for one week now and ever since I've had it all of the

While working on my parents' HP laptop running XP I decided to check for any
security upgrades. Since they had automatic upgrades shut off, the MS website
indicated that there were 58 critical upgrades, so I initiated the

In a dual boot configuration with 2 disks drive C:\W2K and drive D:\WXP, I
want to delete drive C to get it's full space - same scernario would happen
if drive C dies. How to make WXP bootable then? Available tools: Acronis
DiscDirectorSuite-10 & TrueImage-10, WXP-Recovy-CD only.
