Is there any way to change for default format for saves in the Works 8 Word
Processor? I want to change to rtf. If there is no setting to change, is
there at least a work around?

I recently installed XP on SATA HD, however, opening Windows Explorer cannot
see my second SATA HD. Any idea?
I am sure the second SATA is connected properly because if I boot into VISTA
can see it.

I have windows xp with svc pak 2.   when I download files off the
internet using Firefox browser, they are automatically saved to
DESKTOP location.

Running XP Professional sp2 pre-installed on PC. Had a few glitches so
decided to reinstall over the top (not a clean install). Initially this
would not work as I needed a network driver, eventually solved that but
could only get it to install by skipping several files... ...

My current system has two 80GB hard drives, DVD Burner, DVD ROM, a USB
card reader and a USB zip drive.  Both USB devices are hooked up to a
USB Hub.  The 2nd hard drive is used as my data drive and the other is
my main drive that I installed my software on.  I'm using XP Home.

Help!!  I keep getting the message on start up that my compaq connections
data directory is either invalid or is being used by another program which it
is not.  Can;t seem to fix this and would appreciate some advice.  Many

Hi, Im having a bit of trouble with installing some updates,windows says it
found 77 updates but wont install them,there is no error message,it just says
some updates couldnt be installed.im using windows xp home.a solution would

When I bootup my PC There is no padlock icon on the local area connection.  
Windows Firewall IS turned on. I have to go to (network connections/local
area connection/properties then click ok) to get the paclock icon to show.  
Also the volume icon on the taskbar does not appear at ...

I have a program that stopped working without any known reason.

to windows xp basic but i dont have the disk as it was pre loaded onto my

Before installing Windows xp with SP 2 I was able to back up my files to CD
by insalling a program file from the install CD but now I cannot find
anything to show me how to install the back up device in the 'Help & SUpport'
page

my mouse scrolls down but doesnt scroll up. I've uninstalled, reinstalled,
updated the driver, lowered the hardware acceleration....any other ideas??
