hi i cant see the advanced settings in folder options ie tools>folder
options>view>advance settings,there is just a blank box with a horizontal
scrollbar,please help and thanks in advance.

    My Modem Icon is no longer in Control Panel. What has happened
and how do I fix that?

Lately on both startup and shutdown Windows has been inserting a dialog box
in the procedure such that either operation is stopped until I take some sort
of action.
Startup asks for a password ( I have not entered one) but will continue

When an application crashes and you get the Win App Error Dialog, you
can view a "details" text file.  It shows the file is on your drive.
@#!@#!! Microsoft deletes this file when you close the dialog.
Is there a way to prevent the "details" text file from being deleted?

I am using Win XP Pro with SP2 fully updated and using SP2 firewall.  I am

Every time I close a folder in Windows Explorer a blank Internet Explorer
page opens up.  I have run spyware programs to no avail.  Very annoying.  Can

i think i accidentally deleted the administrator account Now I cannot
install any programs.
A check of the Control Panel under "User Accounts" indicates there are no
users.

Hi.  This is to ask if someone can explain to me what "autocaching for
programs" means in Windows XP.  This Offline Files setting is
recommended for Application Data, Desktop (if read-only), and Start

Is it safe to delete all the items found in My Recent Documents folder?

I don't know what I did, but when I open some of the shortcuts on my desktop,
the  window for that particular program no longer fits the entire monitor.  I
maximize but clicking on the maximize button, but the next time I open it up,
it is small again.

Frequently when my computer boots up, there is no USB support (none of my
USB devices is recognized).  A reboot or two usually alleviates the problem.
Any suggestions for a cure?

found" Also "MskDetector:MSKDetct.exe unable to find component" Help please
