I woke up this morning to find the blue screen of death with this error:

Now my system will not boot without this error. I have tried booting into
safe mode, but the system restarts half way through the boot into safe ...

I can't start the "Uninterruptible Power Supply" service in XP Pro
sp2; I get:

I am running XP and when I attempt to turn on my computer I get a message
that ways Drive 0 not found:Serial ATA, SATA-0.
The second message is "No boot device avaialble- Strike F1 to retry boot, F2
for setup utility"

Every time I start my pc it says error loading the above file in: C:
\windows\system32.  I don't see that file anywhere on the web, so I am
a little confused as to what this could be.  Anyone have any ideas?

I just installed Nero 8 and this icon has disappeared.  I have talked to
Nero and they have sent me a registry checker file and Driver-Clean Tool.
The Clean Tool found no drivers to clean and the registry checker did find
errors which supposedly were fixed, but the problem was not ...

My daughters computer all of a sudden will not boot from either hard disk  or
installation disk (XP Home) As soon as the computer says loading windows  it
hangs.
(I get the windows window) The problem exists on all types of boots (safe

My Dell laptop stopped going into standby or hibernate when I close the lid.
Now I can't even select the options from the "Turn Off Computer" menu. I have

Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me out there.
I'm trying to print multiple files from XP. I open the folder, select all
and right click and print. They are all printed in random order even though
the names are in correct order and the documents are created in sequence.

Help!  I got the UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME error but no longer have the Windows
XP Home Edition cd.  Can someone explain how to fix it.  But I'm only 16 and

I have Windows Desktop Search installed on an XP SP2 machine but it does not
show up in Control Panel under Add or Remove Programs.
How can I get it to show up there and why doesn't it already show up there?
