For the past few months I get periodic serious error blue screens- usually when the system starts up or has been running all day. I recently started using hibernate, and I have less frequent serious errors. My event ID showed 7023.

When i try to turn on my dell lattitude d 610 laptop, windows pro starts normally but then i get two error messages c:\windows\system32\odbcint.dll is not a valid windows image c:\windows\system32\sfc.dll is not a valid windows image

Everytime I turn on the computer an error shows up stating "windows cannot find 'D:/setup.ins'. Make sure you typed the name in correctly and try again. then it says to search for it. Please help me out.

I did a search for jpg images and got a list of a hundred images which I thought had been deleted from the directory but are listed in Documents and settings. In trying to delete them I find that I can get rid of only one at a time. Is there a way to remove them any quicker?

I switch between a Sony 23" LCD monitor (1920x1200) and an LG 47" LCD HDTV (1920x1080). Both are hooked up to an ATI X1950XT graphic card. When I switch between the two LCDs, the XP SP2 rearranges desktop icons due to the resolution difference.

I have scoured the internet looking for a way to write data DVDs using the identical CD approach built into XP (select files in explorer, click write to CD, then follow the pop up to complete the write). Does anyone know anything on this?
