Hello - I went to the M.S. site to order an sp2 disk for an xp home o.s.
Below is what was in my basket -it was the only choice and did not seem to
be a 'home' disk. Could you tell me if it will work with an xp  home o.s.? If
not where can I order the appropriate one?

to install sp2:
1-data is backed up
2-have update and run a/v program  + 3 spyware programs
3-remove/disable  all protection in the Mcafee security suite such as

I have Sonic REcord Now 6.5.0  -  Will I be able to burn a cd-r that will be
as reliable as the Windows cd or should I order one?

I use a portable USB drive that gets hooked up to various machines.  I
have turned off system restore on the drive, but if I forget to shut
off the drive or disconeect it before I do a power cycle, when the

I am trying to cleanup my startup via Start > Run > msconfig and have
removed  a number of items from my startup list.
However I have two items that I cannot tell what they are, i.e. there are
two checked boxes, but both the 'Startup Item' and 'Command' column entries
