I did something, I know not what, but my system tools menu evaporated, at least anything I was interested in - Defrag, Disk Cleanup, etc. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Well, I've decided to stop looking for an answer and to post here asking for help. I've tried, quite literally EVERYTHING I've found in regards to this problem. Even going as far as a repair install of XP (I'm not formatting and reinstalling unless no-one can think of anything).

When I enter MSCONFIG into Run, I get the message 'Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you type the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button and then click Search. Is there anyway to get MSCONFIG back again?
