When I click view for my download manager all I get is the top part and can't see what i have downloaded. I get windows cannot open this file, need to know what file created it. Something with my file association. I get file: msn25.downloadhost, etc.

for the past week or so ive been recieving porn emails from loads of different people with yahoo accounts.they are using loads of letters and numbers and it seems its picking up my email address.is there a way i can stop this? ive changed my email settings to junk everything ...

If I select "Turn off monitor" using 20 minutes and "Turn off hard disks" for 30 minutes, it fails to work and the monitor remains on. System Standby is set to OFF in order to allow the Task Scheduler to run during the night so that tasks can be performed.

I have 2 cd Rom's and both are listed in the bios and I also just checked the connections on the motherboard and still the one doesn't show up in My Computer. I tried that CD Rom fix and that still didn't help. I need help here.........thanks

As of a while ago, the Start Bar no longer holds settings; e.g., I right-click on the Start Bar, click on Toolbars, and click on Desktop. That icon is now available... until I reboot; now it's gone. The same holds true for the Quick Launch Bar, which likewise disappears from

Some of the icons is some times replaced with windows default icon and it may take a day until the computer shows again the right icon Any suggestion why does it happen? Thank you,

I continue to get a message Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled. I am running XP SP2. If I click on Tools the 'Manage add ons' is in grey so I can't access it to enable the add on feature.

I have several tasks I wish to run during the night. If System Standby is being used these tasks fail to run because the Task Scheduler is not running. I do not understand why the system was designed this way. It makes no sense. Any help?

It used to be that when I right clicked on a .jpg etc file in windows explorer the context menu would give me the option to set the pic as wallpaper. Since getting this wmc computer I no longer have that option.
