HP Folder Opens at Start17 Nov 2007 16:08 GMT5
For some unknown reason the HP folder on my PC opens every time I boot
the damn thing up. It is annoying rather than disruptive but I would
like to get rid of it. I have run Startup Tracker 3 and the results are
below. Any ideas on how to fix it are very appreciated;

I have read the faqs, searched the internet but nothing really works or is

I have a problem with my Volume Control (in Dutch Playback Control) on my

I tried changing the programs that load when I startup my computer, but it
says I need to sign in as administrator, but I am the administrator.  I only
have two accounts, mine (administrator) and my kids (limited).  I started my

We have been using xcopy with the switches to perform backups to an external
usb hard drive.
It backups up a number of files except Outlook pst files, etc
When analysing further, the problem is to do with sharing violation.

When trying to select a black Cursor for my XP home, I kept getting "The
C:\windows\cursors\arrow_r.cur file, which contains the "Normal Select"
cursor, is either missing or corrupt." How do reconfigure these options?

After reformatting the HD and reinstalling XP, I find that my Inspiron
laptop doesn't have Stand By or Hibernate options.  When I close the
lid and re-open it it's nonresponsive on a black screen until I turn

I have an IBM ThinkPad Laptop (model R40) and when I go to turn it on it

i have a setup were computers are connected to a central router which the
latter is then connected to an adsl modem. i am hosting an ftp on one of
these computers but for obvious reasons i cannot access it due to the
router's nat and firewall.
