I have a family video and I would like to capture a picture of my brother. I can stop (pause) the video, take a Print Scrn snapshot and paste it into Paint. I can crop what I want and do a Save-as. But the resulting picture is just one big black square.

The date and time won't come up when I boot up. I get a request to run set up but then the next time I boot up the date and time are way off. Is this a common problem and what is the fix? I am using Microsoft XP, home edition on a dell Dimension computer

During installation of service pack 2 intallation my computer stops responding at to point where the wizard says backing up registery. Can anything br done about this to finish installation?

A friend running XP home edition has suddenly run into problems with Pegasus Mail program which up to now has run perfectly.(File is locked message) She is still able to get around the problem but investigation points to recent MS XP updates which have been installed automatically.

This is my system: tinyurl.com/3577u5 I added another stick of 1 gig ram and a nvidia 7950 graphics card. Runs perfect but if I reboot or restart I have to disconnect all the peripherals and then plug them all back in.
