there is "an IP-adress conflict with another system on the net".  It seems

computer.  I hate it!  Can I just delete the .exe file that originates the
indexing?  I've checked the Knowledge Base on how to turn indexing off, but I

Help! On start-up, the computer goes to the blue Windows XP screen and then
freezes there.  The mouse moves, but it never goes beyond this screen and no

just upgraded a friends system from ME to XP.  Have also downloaded SP 1 & 2
and most security updates.  Now everytime I start up I get a message that
states lssass.exe has experienced a problem and must close.  How do I fix

I have now seen this on two different PCs.  If left on for a day or
so, all of a sudden new processes will have PID numbers in the 100s of
thousands (like 300000 - 450000).  Rebooting corrects the problem.

free.  I have a version loaded but it no longer appears to be updating,
it's a 2002-2004 version.  I've tried downloading and re-insalling but that
