In My Pictures if I highlight a few pics, ready to do whatever with them, I
notice additional copies of the pics are created..why?...and how to stop
this?

I'm not what to do or even where to look. It just quits for no appearant

I am currently unable to get “Cool N Quiet” to function on my system.

This is probably not the correct place to post this question but here
goes:
I have an Access Query that when run gathers approx. 50,000 records.
I need 12 copies of the same query, so I copy, paste and rename them.

It used to be that when I opened My Computer, and double-left-clicked my C:
drive icon, a new window would open, with a listing of all folders and other
stuff on the C: drive. In the past 10 days, though, when I double-left-click
on the C: drive, an "Open With..." dialog box ...

I accidentally took my 500gb ex. and added a partition. Windows
recognizes the drive but says both partitions need to be formated the
added partition of 99g's and the leftover parition of 300somtthing
g's, I never reformatted the drive just added partitions. is it

Intermittently the XP system crashes. I don't have the complete information

A recent check of my Windows XP dektop by the Symantec VRQ tool found several
"Hidden Listener" entries with "PID" numbers associated with each.  When
asked, Symantec representatives replied that "Hidden Listener" are "junk
files."

I have a toshiba lap top and i keep getting the blue screen with the error
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
i have tried safe mode, last known, every thing , i aslo tried to make a
boot disk but i do not have a floppy drive only a cd rom.  what can i do

when I start my pc recently some program is connecting to the inernet

Whatever program I have running ( eg desktop, MS Word, Outlook
Express,Excel, ACDC  etc etc ) suddenly without warning Widows Media Player
starts up and fully covers the screen.  I close it down but within (in the

I got this ISG image from retrospect disaster recovery process. I would like
to burn it on a DVD as the ISO  image is 720 MB.  Nero express would not let
me do that and of course it does not allow burning to CD either.
