My Task Manager is not opening at all. I'm using Windows XP I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and I get a Message saying that My Administrator has disabled the Task Manager.

When trying to paste more than a hundred thousand files copied from one drive to another I get an error message "File name too long." or something like that. What is the easiest way to locate that (or those) files so that I can fix the name. TIA, JohnH

I have a harddrive that is 37,2 GB, 1,79GB free, but when I add the separate folders -I use 7,73 GB - what has "eaten" my harddrive/disk - were is all the unused... When I turn off hobernation I gain another 1 GB of free disk but still where is approximately 30 GB?

when the new motherboard was installed windows xp was re-installed by the computer shop and that re-installation has caused the problem with downloading updates and the file types in save as boxes
