I'm having a problem installing the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. Every time I run the install I get SLxxx.tmp has encountered a problem error when trying to install .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 and the update fails. Any ideas or suggestions?

Keep getting the above BSOD on start up. If I then reset at start again its ok. Tried restore to period when it was ok, to no avail. No luck with registry cleaners, virus checks et-al.

Recently I re-installed Windows XP home edition from scratch and after having done so, I noticed my only hard disk drive was assigned the drive letter of "F". Can anyone advise me on how to change it to "local drive C:" ?

using microsoft auto updates, i recieve note that an install ready. It's always the same one K936181 (MS XML Core Service 4.0 service pack 2). It is in my add/remove programs. How can I get it to stop telling me to install?

I somehow lost some of the "send to" options on moving pictures, the only option I have now, when i right click, is to send to "my dvd drive" I can't send anything to "My Documents" or "My Pictures" or anywhere else, how do I restore these options to the "right click" function ?
