My winows xp sp1 is really bad and I need to delete it and reinstall it...I
have done this before and never had a problem. Now it is not even showing up
in my control panel. It will not let me manually uninstall it using the

I get an "Error saving web page" message when trying to save a web page.  The
web page saved correctly for a long period of time, and then all of a sudden
that message started appearing.  Has anybody out there experienced the same
problem with XP Home?

Computer had a problem and I went through a restore. Now when I try to laod
AOL either from the AOL stored on my computer or from an AOL disk (9.0)it
will only go to the connect page stop and then reboot the computer.

I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. I recently had a very strange problem
show up on my laptop. The system is a Sony Vaio SZ480N. I did a clean
install of Windows XP Pro and have installed all the updates.
The problem first showed up as non-functioning keys. "c", "t" and "n"

Hi all, apologies if this is the wrong forum to post in.
I recently acquired Windows Vista Business 64 bit version, however soon
realised that on trying to install many programs i used on XP, that they did
not work due to them only being available for the 32 bit system.

XP installation on my computer is of Windows XP professional edition (with
SP2). System partition is on NTFS.
Few days back, UPS failed when system was shutting down. An abnormal
shutdown case. From then on, system booting fails with below message:

After installing the .NET Framework 2.0 & 3.0 update, I am now missing the
entire Games folder and many items from the Accessories folder - most notably
the Character Map.  System is XP Home 2002 SP2 running antivirus, spyware,

Every time I use IE, the following message occurs: Scripts are usually safe.  
Do you want to allow scripts to run?
This occurs in Trusted Zone sites, such as Microsoft, which have everything
enabled.  How do I eliminate this annoying message, which must be clicked
