A friend of mine with XP wants to install this Geforce 2 MX400 Card, but
when he tries the computer he says just keeps restarting and doesnt load up.
When he puts in his old card it works fine again.
When he first put in the new card he said windows loaded up the drivers for

When I go in to a folder with an avi in it windows explorer freezes. I have
run a fix patch and that allows me to go in to the folder, but when i left
click (once) or right click on the file windows explorer freezes. Please help.

I've got Windows 98SE and XP home on my PC as a dual boot. Windows 98SE
is on a small C partition and Windows XP home is on a larger D
partition. I would like to get rid of the dual boot option and remove
the Windows 98SE files and if possible combine the C and D partitions.

My daughter is visiting and has a problem with her HP laptop that has
me stumped (not hard unfortunately).  She has Windows XP Home Edition.
When PC boots the window that comes up says Sorry could not boot and
gives the options of starting in Safe mode, safe mode with command

My daughter asked me to get her windows XP for her computer. My
son-in-law said there is nothing on the computer at the moment. I am
assuming I need to get the entire operating system. My question is, what

Something has happened to my System Restore  - it doesn't appear in my
Accessories/System Tools!  I DO have it enabled through Control
Panel/System/System Restore.  In fact, when I disable it, I can hear it
being deleted.  And when I enable it, I can hear it making the first

I was hoping someone in here could help me. I just received a new
flash drive (my first) and am having a few problems with it.

Recently my computer would start up and the taskbar would appear for a second
and then disappear. Safe Mode will not work, but I don't know that would mean
anything. The only thing I can see is my wallpaper; I can access anything
through Ctrl+Alt+Del and everything still works. ...

Hi all, I have an older machine running XP home. When I install
SP2 then it won't reboot.It tries but fails,then take me to the windows

I have a USB portable HD. I was running a chkdsk command on it. I forgot
that I was running it and I shutdown my PC.
Next time I boot up and plug my USB portable HD to my PC, it asks to format
