When I go in to a folder with an avi in it windows explorer freezes. I have run a fix patch and that allows me to go in to the folder, but when i left click (once) or right click on the file windows explorer freezes. Please help.

I've got Windows 98SE and XP home on my PC as a dual boot. Windows 98SE is on a small C partition and Windows XP home is on a larger D partition. I would like to get rid of the dual boot option and remove the Windows 98SE files and if possible combine the C and D partitions.
