My machine originally came with XP Home. I have XP Pro Update also. I don't
remember whether I updated to pro before applying SP2. Now I am doing a
system restore on my machine. Whic one is best, applying SP2 before running
the XP Pro Update or vice versa?

Trying to update my bios, downloaded the file to desktop then try to
