I have been trying to figure out how to synchronize "My Documents" with my
home folder on a network server when logging off each day.  It used to work
with Windows 2000 but I have been struggling to get it to work in XP Pro.

                  For the last few days when i switch on xp tries to start

As I was manually removing a Symantec product via regedit, I accidentally
deleted the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18
That wiped out the rest of the key: \products\
