IE 7 and OE will not print. Opera, freshly installed on the same machine,

I have a USB extension cable connected to a USB port in my computer. I use
the cable to connect either my printer or a USB memory stick. I have been
able to swap USB sticks and the printer without problem for a long time.

shut down." Other error messages refer to msie having trouble.

There are 8 svchost.exe are in active processes, 4 are SYSTEM processes, 2
are NETWORK SERVICES and 2 LOCAL SERVICES, one of those processes consumes
about 30 MB of memory constantly (one that is SYSTEM process) rest of
svchost.exe-s are consuming 3 to 6 MBs of memory. I am sure ...

Until yesterday acomputer which doesn't fully belong to me (it's used
by the family) was working mainly under Vista. I wanted to install Xp
and went straight for it.
Now Vista doesn't start but Xp only does. And I am not sure I can
