I want to remove Windows Movie Maker, it's functional on my PC, however, it is not listed in the Add/Remove programs. I did a search for in in All Files, and only two shortcuts show up (not the program). How do I remove it? It's never used and is just taking up HD space.

I purchased a new pc with windows XP installed. I moved my old hard drive which had W98 on it to my new pc as a secondard drive. CMOS sees the new drive as well as Disk Manager but Windows does not assign a drive letter to it and I cannot access any of my old data.

I have two CD/DVD drives (D and E ). Now, Windows Explorer shows an additional "F" CD drive that does not exist. How can I get rid of this ? Thank you in advance.

i use my friend's PC to unhidden some file inside a folder. Then i click tools menu and choose folder options... i found out that there is no folder options for me to click. izzit there's sumthing wrong with my windows? Plz help. 10q.

I am rebuilding an HP Pavilion for a friend after the HD crashed. I have XP and all drivers reloaded but none of the USB 2.0 ports are working. I booted the PC with Knoppix and the USB ports work fine so it has to be a SW issue. I have Legacy USB in BIOS turned off per HP's web ...

I have just tried to install the Windows XP Service Pack 3 Release Candidate. Everything goes well until the install arrives at the file UNIDRV.DLL (which is a printer driver) where the install stops. I then receive the following message:

I have WinXP pro SP2 on a P3 1GHz/512MB dell PC, with soundblaster audigy and SM56 speakerphone modem as PCI cards. Whenever I use internet it shutsdown sudeenly and reboots with no errors. I switched off the automatic reboot option and found the following error:
