Hi - A very recent and vexing prob with XP. My computer just started to
pulsate (every 1 second) with the hourglass icon and the mouse pointer.  I

I've recently encountered a problem trying to copy files to a CD or DVD.
The error message states "Windows encountered a problem copying file", and
give me a choice to Retry, Skip, or Cancel.
Of course nothing works, so I have to cancel.

I am using Windows XP Home SP2 with an AMD Athlon Processor.
I have recently installed a USB 2.0 PCI card.
Everything seems to work in the USB 2.0 ports except my Ipod.
To charge the ipod and transfer files I have to revert to the old USB ports.

I was called to a Windows XP Pro PC yesterday to do a user changeover
and to add/remove some software.
I discovered that there are two Administrator accounts showing (plus
one limited account and the Guest turned off)
