I've recently encountered a problem trying to copy files to a CD or DVD. The error message states "Windows encountered a problem copying file", and give me a choice to Retry, Skip, or Cancel. Of course nothing works, so I have to cancel.

I am using Windows XP Home SP2 with an AMD Athlon Processor. I have recently installed a USB 2.0 PCI card. Everything seems to work in the USB 2.0 ports except my Ipod. To charge the ipod and transfer files I have to revert to the old USB ports.
