I think I know but, not for sure. I have my mouse going into a hub. Sometimes my mouse wont work. If I unplug the hub at the USB port and plug it back in to the port, the mouse work. This is leading me to believe it is the hub at first. Than I thought it might be the port

hi (again) I still have had no joy with this corrupt/missing "\windows\system32\config\system" file. I installed knoppix 5 linux and browsed and found these files, but i couldn't do anything with them.

Something happened with my RAID device. autoexec.inf was removed from the root directory, when Right-clicking the icon, it show the options to "scan with ACDSee" as first followed by "Search" then "Open" then "Explore" How do I get the order to be "Open" before the others

I had several system crashes that turned out to be caused by bad ram. But fixing the ram didn't eliminate the crashes. I get a light blue screen for an instant before it goes black and starts beeping at me. To complicate matters, the crashes have been in VirtualPC.
