I think I have discovered a bug in the xo taskbar autohide feature. This is a
really useful feature for those of us with not so much desktop space, so it
is quite an annoying bug.
BUG SYMPTOM/DESCRIPTION: I have my taskbar property "Auto-hide the taskbar"

Hi, I cut and paste pictures from my hard drive the rewritable disc. It went
through the process with no problem and when i reload the disc to look
through my pictures it is showing that there is nothing on the disc? Where
have my pictures gone? Have I lost forever?

I have a new Gateway system running XP. This morning when I turned on the
system, there was a windows update in the tray (the yellow shield). I
clicked to install and was prompted to restart the system after installation.

I have always been using a user account with administrator rights.
Having heard that it is not safe, I thought I would change my account
type to power user.

i have a booting problem,it started a week ago, it gets as far as mem test
ok, or to checking drives, then stops/hangs, the hd light pulses appr 1sec
with a light beeping sound, it took  3/4 resets to bootup, ( no prob on warm
reboot)

Can anyone give me some advise on getting rid of an infected dll that says
"access denied"?  I have tried with both AVD and Antivir avira. They find
the bad Trojan dlls but say it can't be deleted.  Is this really so....and
there is no solutions without formatting?

My computer is telling me in a Spyware Alert that a virus called
Worm.Win32.NetSky is on my hard drive and it wants me to remove it
immediately. It is also saying that I have some Trojan viruses and some
adware crap that needs to be removed.

Can you help.  Since the last two Windows Updates I am unable to read any of
the CDs I burn.  Everything freezes and "Not responding" message appears.  I
am running Windows XP Professional and have an NEC CD-RW NR9300A CD-RW drive.

I had ME on my computer and finally changed to XP.  I did the New Install
since I had a lot of programs and trash basically on the old system.  Now
when I go to a web page and scroll, it is very slow and blinks instead of
scrolling smoothly.

My computer ( clevo m570U) worked properly yesterday, however today windows
failed to boot twice, and now when it boots BIOS does not recognize my HDD
and fails to see XP pro. I tried reinstalling windows only to discover it
also did not see a hdd.

I get an installation lock up at the exact same spot.
It says 32 min remaining and Installing networks. The green part of the
progress bar is right under the capital "N" in Installing Networks
I have tried another installation cd.
