Problem with my left and right arrow keys not working05 Jan 2008 18:19 GMT3
I'm have problems with my arrow keys. When playing games or attempting to
move to left or right with my arrow keys they appear to be locked. I get no
error message or prompts. Has anyone experienced this or, can anyone offer a
possible solution?

This problem happens again and again with my computer. A month ago,
when I restart the computer (which was using WinXP), I found that the

Problem. Neighbor with a dinasaur Windows 98 (2001 version) has computer that
boots up and after it completes booting, it may be 30 seconds, two minutes,
not more than 3 minutes, whether on a program working or just setting there

Whenever I "paste" a file to notepad, then click "save as", the default
destination is "Computer".  I never save anything to "Computer", as such.
How do I change the default destination for "Save As"  to "Desktop" ???

I have xp professional with wmp11.  I have always used wmp11 to view avi
files from my digital camera.  I installed a creative zen and now I cannot
view my videos, most of the time a black screen with white snow. the audio is
ok.  After about a half minute I get a message...WMP ...

I decided to delete one of the three partitions on a non-system PATA
disk prior to increasing the size of the other two.
Now the complete disk is not visible in 'my computer' or 'disk
management'.   It is however visible in the BIOS and device manager

HELP !!!!I have alway been able to change my desktop background by just right
clipking on my mouse and hitting set as background. I can't now Any
suggestons? I can't even chang from tile, strech ot center ither..that little

Any ideas what this means?? I've been having it recently on my PC and I
thought it may be a driver problem for something I installed so I unplugged
everything and did a factory re-store and it's still happening :o( ....any
ideas what else it could be please, it's very annoying!

my xp pro machine has progresses from crashing nearly every program and
having the odd unexplained reboot to now having blue screen crashes.
I look at the blue screen but there is nothing that stands out as a problem.
Usually blue screens are either drivers or hardware failure.
