I know how to burn playable CDs, but I would like to simply copy the .wma
files to a CD (as a backup).

Windows XP on my Thoshiba Harman/Kardon is able to open the startup screen

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop running XP pro with all updates.
Here is my problem:
When I start a normal boot up it stalls/stops at a blank screen with a
