In my Folders panel in Windows Explorer, is there any way to avoid displaying (under "My Computer") the folders "Shared Documents" and "<My name> Documents" (same as "My Documents", which is already listed right under "Desktop")?

A bad AGP slot on my son's Shuttle AK-32E forced me to have to replace the MOBO with a used and older Gigabyte GA-7DX. While the PC will boot up, it hangs while Windows XP Home is loading. In Safe Mode, the last driver listed as being loaded is gagp30kx.sys, then it hangs.

I have recently begun receiving the following error at apparently random times. I also sometimes receive a message indicating that the VPU has recovered from a serious error, but when I check the event log the only error is the one posted below.
