Loss Of TCP Printing18 Feb 2008 22:49 GMT10
One of my XP Pro workstations just up and decided that it won't print to a

driver as other workstations etc. and it still prints to other network
printers. Other XP Pro, 2003 servers, and Vista ...

This just started to happen:  Quite often when I'm booting, I get a

Thank you;

No system check points18 Feb 2008 18:50 GMT1
Sys Restore is, I think, supposed to automatically establish a check point
each day. Many days don't have checkpoints of any kind, most others only
checkpoints  inserted by cleanup programs, etc. The PC is on continuously at
least 9 hours/day.

Some of you recommended an UltraVNC for me.  I want to be able to
access my PC from anywhere in the world over the Internet (my PC will
be unattended by anyone).  What is an UltraVNC and how do I go about
setting it up?
USB not working18 Feb 2008 15:48 GMT1
All 6 of my USB ports have stopped working. Device manager reports all
healthy and have proper driver. I have done a reformat and a clean install
and nothing works. When I plug in a USB device (such as a wireless mouse or
thumb drive) the computer freezes.
system hangs when playing video18 Feb 2008 15:43 GMT1
Initially, when I clicked a *.wmv file to play with WMP-10, the video portion
would freeze on the first frame and the audio would play through.  Stopping
the video or closing the app would result in a total system hang (no keyboard
response and a beep on the first mouse click).
